Do I have Colon Cancer?

for about 8 days now I have been having an extreme pain in my right side. I went to the hospital and they took a MRI and found “masses” or “tumors” in my colon and in my back. The ones in my back are identical to the ones in my colon in shape and size but they are not attatched to anything other than soft tissue. They are not on the spine. He told me that it is a big blockage in my colon and that it is a Mass of some type, and doesnt look like any cancerous tumors he has ever seen. I have a colonoscopy monday to see what it is for sure but i was wondering if anyone else has ever known anyone who has had a “mass” in their colon that turned out to not be cancerous. Btw I am only 21 yrs old male

You can have a mass in any part of your body that can be or cannot be cancerous. (benign is the term for non cancer)

Suggest you wait until the colonoscopy is done to find out. I know it is hard any time the word cancer is mentioned. My advice, do not borrow trouble until you know what the results are. You can literally make yourself sick from worry.
